This is something of a different thought. Almost all of my current friends, many of the friendships years old, are with people that I have met through BJDs. I would never have guessed that my closest friends would be people that I had originally met online through a hobby forum but it's turned out to be true. I remain amazed at the quality of friends that I have made, and the diversity even within the group. BJDs have brought me an entirely new world of people and that is a beautiful thing.
