Day 1: Why do you like BJDs?
I like BJDs because they are so darned customizable. My first in fact, didn't have a set pair of eyes or wig until I started hanging around other doll people. He was the epitome of the Chameleon doll. There wasn't a well developed character, he was just for playing, as simple as that.
I love that a change of clothes, a change of wigs, a subtle change to faceup, can completely change the feel of a doll. I can't say that's what originally attracted me per se, but it helped.
