I put in an application at the big JoAnns by the mall, and when I called in today, the manager asked me to come in tomorrow. She didn't give me a specific time for an interview, but this is more promising than I've heard yet. Please wish me luck!

Sorry I've been invisible.

I've been really quiet lately. Both in comments, and in posts. I miss my best friends to a crippling degree, and I feel apprehensive about the future.

I'm having very little in the way of luck, with job hunting. I want to work, but I HATE the running around, filling out applications, calling back, and scheduling interviews part. So I've been slower at getting that done, than I should be.

I have a bike now. Someone at the family church heard I was looking for one, and a member brought it by for me. This should make things easier in theory, but it's SO cold now. I feel like an idiot because I didn't try to bring more clothing, warmer clothing, with me. Also, I've regained all the weight I lost, staying with Christy, and some more on top of that. I detest being this heavy. It makes me feel worthless, helpless, to be this big. My clothes don't fit right, and I've only got like 10 super casual shirts, a pair of too-small jeans, and some khaki shorts. I don't have the kind of clothes I need for interviews, and even with my lip ring out, I look ridiculous.

I tried giving myself a more conservative haircut but it just looks like the butchered mohawk it is.

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm stuffed! I made mashed potatoes from scratch for the family, and there is even some left over. <3 There was all kinds of yummy food, and I was gonna take photos and stuff but I left my camera in my room and forgot about it. XD Bonnie will probably post some good shots in the next few days though, so I'm good.

I hope everyone's had a great day filled with family, friends, and good food. :3

Dragon Eggs

Okay, I'm trying this again. My little dragon eggs never make it past hatching. I've decided to try once more. ;3 Please give my little eggs a click!

I'm sore and cold. :O

I went to the gym with Jenni yesterday. It was nice having essentially a personal trainer, without having to pay for one. XD She walked me through the various workouts, and made it alot of fun. I like working out anyway, but it's easier when you have company. We worked our arms mostly, and then our stomachs. Then I got on an eliptical machine, and she got on the treadmill. I did about half a mile, and burned about 100 calories according to the machine I was on. It's a good start. XD My arms are sore as heck today, but my legs and stomach feel fine. Guess that means I have to push harder next time.

It's cold. According to my little Weather deally on my desktop, it's 43 degrees Farenheit, at 1pm in Texas. That's ridiculous. It's never supposed to get below fifty here. It's Texas! And of course, knowing that it NEVER gets cold in Texas, I left my warmest clothes in Virginia. Go me! I'm gonna go pout about it in my room, under three blankets, with double layers, and my dollies. :[ Pfffft I wish. I'm going to get the mail. :B

And just for the hell of it, (and cause I haven't posted any in awhile) a photo of me! ;D

Knitting projects!

So I finally remembered that I have a Ravelry account. I went ahead and finished up the details I could fill in, on the purple blanket that was my first project. You, know, this one.


I wasn't sure what it was going to be, but it ended up the perfect size for a small doll blanket. Like a throw.

Now I'm working on this.

It will eventually be a green sweater in MSD scale. So far I've got most of the torso. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do next though. I've gotten about to the armpits, in length, but I think I want to do a little more, so it's a longer sweater. :3

I still don't really know what I'm doing, but I'm having fun learning.

White boots for Ichigo!

Ichigo's white boots arrived. :] I was happy to see them setting in the mailbox. I was starting to think they were lost in the mail. :[ Such is the problem with Airmail from overseas. It's all good though because they did arrive safely. I love the way they look, even better, in person.






And when I went to leave feedback for these, I saw the perfect boots for Seanan. I'm not ordering them for now, due to lack of funds, but I plan to get these as soon as I reasonably can. :]

In other dollie news, I spent Friday night over at my sister Faythe's place. We had fun. :3 We ended up doing a photostory of some of the dolls eating gummy foods. It was fun, and I need to weed out the pictures that didn't turn out so well, before I post them. I'll try and post them in the next few days.

I caught a bug of some sort. My friend David came into town, we hung out, and I think I caught a bug from him. I'm not sure he likes who I am now. Doesn't matter though, cause I know we'll still talk.

MY TEETH! D:

I have a cavity. ;_; I also have no dental insurance, and no money till the first. I don't know if I have other cavities as well but it's likely. I only know about this one because I cut my tongue on the edge a few days ago. I've been freaking out ever since.

I have a total of $200 to work with per month, at least half of which I try to use for food and soda for the month. I'm told by everyone I've asked (except an actual dentist) that it will likely be a few hundred dollars. I don't HAVE a few hundred dollars. I don't have TEN dollars.

I can't ignore it either because it's a pretty big hole, and it's on the side of one of my back molars. I use that tooth alot, ya know? ;_; I don't know what I can do. Unless one of the companies I've applied at, calls me back with a job, I can't do anything. I can't ignore it either. I need to see if there are any dentists in the area who do stuff for low income, or would be able to take payments. Ugh..

I'd been having alot of nightmares about losing my teeth lately too. ;_; *flails*
